When I open my Chrome browser on my Chromebook, a tab opens automatically with the address billsearch.com It holds a Google search box (which I havent tried).

If you type billsearch.com as a web address to go to it changes and takes you to a Canadian political site.

If you google billsearch.com you get absolutely nothing of value. No information.

Is this Malware? Hope someone can put my mind to ease.

    Thanks,

Click the menu button at the upper right of the browser, then Settings, then Advanced Settings. Look for the On Startup section, and click Set Pages. Do you see that site listed there? If so, highlight it and click the X at the right of it. It shouldn't appear any more.

    Hi B. Diddy,

I have tried what you said but no luck. It is trange that I can get absolutely no info about billsearch.com on google or elsewhere. So far, I just close the growser quickly in case it is doing something.

    Thanks for trying.

What if you go to the Chrome settings, then Advanced Settings, then Clear Browser Data? Check everything there, and then select "From the beginning of time."
