I have an Acer R13 and I want to run an Android app ( Navionics a marine navigation app which I use on my phone) which will require an external gps. I have an external (usb) gps puck. Question .... will my R13 recognize the gps usb input when running an Android? Thanks Ian

That is a good question. I hope it would. I know MX Mariner has external GPS input options, but I haven't tried it. Have you been able to install Navionics onto your chromebook yet? I tried to install it on my Acer R11 a few months ago, but Navionics wouldn't allow it. I contacted Navionics about it and they said they don't allow their app to be installed on "untested" devices. I'll have to try installing it again. I know Navionics runs on the Nox Android emulator in a windows computer, but I don't have a GPS puck yet to test out the location function.
