At&t phone on Cricket?

Will a locked Att phone work on Cricket? I know that they used to.

If you are a good customer (meaning, pay your bill on time, no outstanding issues), they will send you an unlock code so you can take your phone elsewhere. I have heard that you might want to say something like "I want to take my phone overseas", and this will help expedite the procedure. I can understand why they might get a little harder to deal with if you say your leaving for Tmobile...

I bought a used, off-contract AT&T Samsung phone for use with Cricket. Using the link above, AT&T sent me the unlock code just a few minutes after I submitted the unlock request...super easy.

You would have to check the LTE bands. It might not work well.

You'd be safer to sell that phone, and get one that has been used on either ATT or Tmobile. The band that Verizon phone works on could give you some nagging issues, and would always be the "source" of you problem, if you went to Crickets tech support....
