    Hi all,

I am quite new to the app world so sorry in advance for the dumb question.
I plan to conduct a market research for which I would need an app that generates pop-ups when a certain action in another app is performed (e.g. an uber driver is rated in the uber app).

Is it possible to do that both in Android??

Thank you so much in advance!

There are two basic ways to do this. Both require skilled programming.

    1. The target app needs to allow that type of interaction and the programmers of the monitoring app need to know how to link into the target app.

    2. Your monitoring app registers with the target app's server so that when the target app does an action, the server sends a signal to your monitoring app.

For either of these options to work, you need the cooperation of the owners of the target app. This is a common thing to do, but not all app owners will choose to participate.
