I have come across a tablet which is advertised as HD but the resolution is only 1024*600 and the display looks pretty terrible. The seller claims that this is HD resolution for tablets and that the standard is different for tablets than it is for TVs or monitors but I have found nothing to support this online. Is describing this tablet as HD misleading? Is there an agreed minimum resolution for a tablet to be described as HD?

Welcome to Android Central! HD is considered at least 720p, so 1024x600 is not HD. Full HD is 1080p.
