Grey background instead of white

I installed a battery monitory app and have since uninstalled it.
It was DU Battery saver if i recall correctly.
However, now I have a hotel app which has black text on a grey background in some of it.
It should be black text on white background throughout.
I have reinstalled the hotel app but it hasnt fixed the problem.
Everything else is ok.
Please help

Have you tested the app on other devices? It's possible that they changed the color scheme with a recent update. Is it difficult to read?

to answer this specific question - i have the same version of the hotel app on a different phone and its ok.

i did manage to fix the problem, here is how i did it...

i reinstalled the battery app and the hotel app was still broken. I uninstalled both. Then reinstalled the hotel app. Still broke. Then in installed the battery saver app and it was still broke. Finally i removed the battery app and the hotel app was ok.
