Lost Root after 2.3.4 OTA on rooted device

Gang -

Buddy has a Droid 2 that was rooted.

Got the OTA for GB and lost root.

He wants his root back.

What should he do?

UPDATE: 2.3.3 is installed. Has appearance of root after oneclick but gets access denied. SU fixer did not help.

Hey, I had the same issue. I tried Gingerbreak with no luck as well as one click for Droid 3. What did work for me was a one click root for a samsung galaxy S.

Can you be more specific about where/which "one click root for a samsung galaxy S" you used?

The file I used was "OneClickRootCWM3.1.0.1-EC05.zip"
