When they say do not delete BackupAssistant, they really mean DO NOT DELETE BACKUPASSISTANT.

After deleting it my phone began acting very strangely, lagging and not responding properly. I did a hard reset, everything came back fine except well, the friggin' homescreen. I could receive calls, receive/reply to sms, I just couldn't get to any apps. It was just a black screen no matter what I did.

I asked Verizon what to do, they suggested I hard reset with the keys option, it wouldn't do it. On day 28, they said they'd send me a new one. I took it to a friend to see if he could fix it, I mean the phone was fine just needed to be flashed.

Luckily he was able to fix it, no issues. Back to where I was before I deleted BackupAssistant, and I don't think I'll be doing that again.
