Tethering for free on Droid 3

(I know, I know, its wrong, I will burn in the fires of hell forever, Verizon will come to my house and make love to my dog, ect.)

Has anyone done it? Has doing so resulted in any negative effects from Verizon?

(Not to be confused with CAN it, or WILL it, but have has anyone actually experienced anything BAD happening, other than burning in the eternal pitts of hell?)

Heard you have to do some extra hacking because on the mobile hot spot built into the phone. So nope not yet.

Iv'e done it. Only used it a little, mostly for my son's iPod. It was easy, works well with the iPod & my laptop, nothing bad has happened (yet).

I read a story on Crackberry about a year ago about a guy who got hit with a bill in the thousands, but he got caught because he was streaming music and movies.

If you are smart about it, you should be fine.

yeah ive done the droid 3 hotspot radio hack, was wiped away after the ota update...im too lazy to re-do...
