so for some reason my entire /system file on my droid 3 has been deleted, i can use my phone as usual but nothing involving root is working (I have already rooted my phone) for example when I open ROM manager I get a message saying that I must root my phone and that Superuser was not found at "/system/bin/su". Now what I really dont understand is when I try to gingerbreak or z4root my phone it doesnt work, so I decided to check the /system file, and it isn't there, there is absolutely no /system file...any help on fixing this? thanks in advance.

If /system was missing then your phone would not be running. Most likely you somehow lost root.

You may want to try re-rooting the phone using Dan Rosenberg's Motofail method.

(The site says it is for the Droid 4, but it also roots the Droid 3.)
