It was some sort of tech-news twitter account. I'd give you the name but since they deleted it i can't say As for a Cellebrite (i didn't know what it was either) It's a machine phone carriers use to transfer data from your old phone to a new one (contacts, stuff like that) It showed a nice clean screen shot of the Droid Bionic in the list of phones on the screen of the Cellebrite.

The Bionic appeared in VZW's old system "CelleBrite" typically it means 1-2 weeks, however its not a perfect predictor.

That is what it would have looked like, however since the article was pulled almost instantly...

Was it the XT865 or XT875.


The XT865 (old Bionic) has been in there a long time.

Was it the XT865 or XT875.


The XT865 (old Bionic) has been in there a long time.

It had the new XT875 displayed. I honestly don't know why the article was pulled, it didn't name any sources

Doing a search on Twitter for "cellebrite" turned up some re-tweets of the same article, so you are not going crazy... I wonder if moto or vzw made them pull the article? Wicked odd.

It's my understanding that police in MI are using cellebrite machines to access the data in your phones on traffic stops.

Don't know where you heard this, but haven't run into it at all, and the MSP have flat out stated they won't do it. Have not heard of any police form doing this yet, I think it was one of those speculation-turns-into-fact things.

I can't look at DL at work. Who wrote the article? I bet if it was Kellex he would call it his exclusive even though PA had it earlier.
