After getting the ICS update my phone kept giving me this error every time i tried to do anything at all. After calling Verizon we tried clearing the data in the contacts storage and it seems to have fixed the problem. Just wanted to post this in case anyone else encounters this problem with the upgrade.

Just go to mange apps and then to contacts storage. Once there clear data. That should fix it.

That works until you restart the phone, then you have to do it again. There has to be a better way. Thanks to all who help.

If it continues after restarting the phone, I'd suggest doing a factory reset.

I didn't have that error until after I did a factory reset:'(
