there is a downgrade package in the forums this will bring you back to stock
status bar will go back to black aswell06-08-2011 05:32 PMLike 0 - Gmail and Maps is already in system. the updates Google pushes out via Market go into /data. And if you put everything in /system and Google pushes and update out it won't update correctly.
I've gotta ask tho why would you be concerned about space as I'm just curious. It is highly unlikely you will eat up over 1Gb of internal memory just by apps and other stuff installed from the market. Most apps are not very big. Personally to this day I don't get understand everyone wants all this internal mem. For me give me more RAM in DDR2 or DDR3 and the biggest sdcard possible and I'm covered.
If I had to put a priority I would say Processor, DDR3 RAM, Internal App Storage.06-08-2011 06:20 PMLike 0 - I have had great battery life so far. You can restore back to stock. Just use Odin and flash the Rooted Stock ED1 downgrade ED2 ROM and then accept the update to ED2 and you will be stock.06-08-2011 06:48 PMLike 0
- no it doesnt weaken battery , the people who have seen battery drop wiped data and this seems to have fixed that problem, most likely a corrupted application or poor code.

we are revisiting the icons, i think im going to leave data 3g/4g/1x stock as i kind of like them stock aswell but cell and battery will change.

The white contrast is cool stock against black, but the waves and blue have sex appeal. Altered beast should be wild. Sterilized looks are too corporate haha06-08-2011 07:45 PMLike 0 - So the cell signal icon is stock intentionally? the wave look was much cooler imo. Is there a way to get it back?

I gotta tell you even with all the problems still in this "alpha" rom, it still kicks butt over the stock rom.
THANK YOU!06-08-2011 09:09 PMLike 0 - I really like the black status bar and the cell and battery icons. I noticed that the battery changes to stock when usb is plugged in or in charging dock.

-wipe cache partition
-install zip from sdcard
-backup and restore
-mounts and storage
-advanced
-voodoo
-power off
Idk what to do here. help?06-08-2011 09:39 PMLike 0 - Ok, I did all of your steps, and now, after some robot lady talked, it says:

Idk what to do here. help?06-08-2011 09:55 PMLike 0 - Hey DroidXCon,
I really like the Buddies Now widget (surely I'm not the only one!) and was wondering if that's available in AB, or if there are plans to have it available?
Been enjoying my Charge for about a week now, and I think I want to at least root it, but I'm new to android but I'm not quite ready to commit just yet. I upgraded the OS on my Blackberry Storm a few times but not quite sure I wanna pull that trigger on this just yet. I have, however, been reading this thread religiously. Well done, sir.06-08-2011 11:28 PMLike 0 - I am in the middle of installing your AB rom and Odin is stuck at FactoryFS for about 12 minutes now. Any way you can help me out? This also happened to me before trying to do the flash back from ED2 to ED1 rooted which I ended up bricking the phone. Luckily I got it replaced. It may be something with the PC I am using but I have tried various USB ports and Samsung drivers are all ok and all antivirus are shut off. I am nervous to unplug the usb cable or shut the program down. I dont want to brick this one like the other06-09-2011 01:21 AMLike 0
