Anyone know how to disable Google Search widget?

Under running programs. It's called Googlesearch.

Hmm... I can't find that one.

Settings-> Apps-> Running shows one entry for "Google Services" and when I select that it shows two services ("Network Location Service" and "Google Messaging Service") and one process ("Google Services.")

It will let me "Stop" either service but not the one process.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks...

It can't be removed. There are plenty of threads on it. It is a Google thing. If u want it gone you'll need to use a different launcher but then u loose the Motorola widgets. Apex and nova are good replacements

Nevermind I found it under "All."

Sucks that even with the search bar gone the gap for it remains so you don't recapture the real estate on the screen.

Bastards lol...

Thanks again for the help!

Oh yeah, it was under "all". Sorry haha. That blank space does kind of suck. I use simi clock and that helps make it not-so-noticable.

Oh, wow - I looked up "Simi Clock" on Google Play and it looks pretty sweet. I might give it a try. Thanks!
