Notification light doesn't seem to be working

Anyone else have a problem with the notification light? It doesn't flash when I get a text or email. I can't find anything in settings to change it. Am I missing something?

I use the app "Light Flow" to control my LED, vibration, and audio notifications. It has tons of options for color and vibration patterns. I'd give the free version a try to see if it works for you.

Thank you. I actually did download this app and got nothing from the notification light. I just came back from Verizon with a new Razr M. The the light was defective on the phone.
