This morning I was browsing email and clicked on a StumbleUpon link. The web page opened about half way - and then stopped. Everything is frozen. None of the soft buttons work, the touchscreen is completely unresponsive. Volume buttons get no response. The power button will turn the screen on and off, but even holding it for a minute doesn't force a reboot or bring up the power management box. It doesn't recognize the charger when I plug it in. The screen doesn't sleep - it's frozen in time.
I'm leaving the screen on to drain the battery down to nothing, hoping it will recover when plugged in after that...but am I missing something? Should I be restoring it if it does come back to life? I've had this M almost since they first came out and I have loved it - it has been the perfect phone, so I'm bummed this is happening...
