Clock widget freezing

My clock widget keeps freezing. What I mean is, if I last use my phone at 11:00 pm and then the next time I use my phone it's 7:00 am, sometimes when I first use the phone the 2nd time (7:00 am) the clock will still say 11:00 pm, and then a second later it jumps to 7:00 am. This is a problem when my alarm is supposed to go off at 6:30 am but the phone doesn't recognize that it's that time yet! As you can imagine, not good when your alarm doesn't go off in the morning. (My phone is always charging at night- it's not a question of the battery dying.) Has this ever happened to anyone else? Solutions?

I'm having the same problem. Its even causing third party alarm apps to fail to work properly. Anyone have ideas of a fix for this?
