Ever since the KitKat update, the voice navigation instructions on Google Maps has been cutting out mid sentence. I think that I have located the problem. When my phone connects to my car's bluetooth I get a notification that periodically flashes across the bottom of my screen stating "headphones disconnected". The thing is that I have never used headphones (or ear buds) with my phone. But when that message flashes it cuts out the audio on my phone, though not the audio from my bluetooth connection (my phone calls are not interrupted). Although Google Maps navigation does not route the instructions through the bluetooth in my car (it comes out of my phone's speaker), I figured that I could solve the problem by deleting the bluetooth connection and then creating a new one. That fix lasted a few days and the problem has come back. Any suggestions?
