How do I turn OFF text messages being read to me while in dock/car mode?

Yikes I was driving and got a text message and my phone stopped my radio and wanted to read it to me. This is way too distracting. How do I turn this off? I can't seem to find the setting.

I am using a Motorola dock...but there must be some way to turn this option off??

You could always use the smart action "Smart Drive". It is preset to send a text when you receive one stating that you are driving and that you will answer when you can.

I have Smart Drive set up and turned off the automatic text sending as it's unecessary for me. What I'm having an issue with is my phone automatically trying to read me the incoming message out loud. I don't want to hear anything other than the actual notification. I had to divert my eyes from the road to hit read or cancel, and then had to restart my radio application. I want to turn that functionality off (it wanting to read my messages to me).
