So I'm looking into getting a Droid RAZR MAXX HD as my next phone, but what concerns me is that backup/restore functionality is supposedly broken in all Motorola phones, per the Carbon devs. I have quite a few games for which I do not want to lose the data, and some of them (like Where's My Water) do not have data backup apps of which I know. Is there a solution for app data restore? Otherwise I will probably find myself waiting on the Galaxy S4 (which I probably will do anyways if I don't have enough supporting evidence for what I think will break my Sprint contract).

Take a look at MyBackupPro and SOS backup. I'm not sure if either will back up app settings on a non-rooted device, though.
