This is pretty typical usage for me. Texting, checking the forums, a bit of of Facebook and some light gaming.

How you do this?

Cole, do you have your phone on 3G all the time?

My 3G is always on however I am on Wi-Fi a good majority of the time. Driving to / from work (anywhere from 50 minutes to 1.5 hours a day) the screen stays on, Google Music streaming over 3G and GPS going for my Car Dashboard app.

I don't have 4G coverage with Alltel so that is certainly helping things.

Keep in mind there is also time in there where I'm sleeping for a few hours, this was over almost 2 days.

I guess mine is about the same. Hard to tell because I've been really hammering it tweaking out JB. If it's less, it's minimal. I did manage to take it down to 15% in a day but I was constantly on line.

My battery life seems to be a little less. This was notable right after the ICS update as well, and subsequently settled down after several charge cycles. Hopefully the same thing will happen with JB. I wonder, though, if some of the new goodies like Google Now eat up a little more battery. Perhaps Google Now is always waking up and trying to poll the web, even if wifi or mobile data aren't on--I could see how that might use up little bits of battery over time.

Open Google Maps, select Settings/Location settings, and turn off Location Reporting. This helped improve my battery life, because otherwise Maps wakes the phone up hundreds if not thousands of time during the day to check your location, which eats up battery.

Is there some kind of tutorial or something to tell you how to read and understand the graphs on the system pro app? I must not have used Juice Defender right because it was aggravating how it shut my data off & then it takes a few to get it back up. I'm not very educated on some of this. Can someone make some recommendations on how to use juice defender too?

I used Juice Defender at one point and actually found it was giving my phone more problems than anything. I would forget about any apps that claim to prolong battery life. A few things I do to save battery life is turn off Bluetooth, Wifi, and GPS. Unless you use these on a regular basis it is best to just manually turn these on as needed. I've never had a problem with my Maxx dying. It lasts me all day and then some (but I am in a routine of just charging it while I sleep so I never encounter any close calls of it dying when I needed it).

Just toggle it back on when you get back in the car.
