K-9 Email

I had to change my Yahoo password today so no matter how many times I try, I can't get K-9 set up. It will continually tell me my user name or password is wrong. I have tried the old password and also the new and it will not set it up.

I do not know the settings for Yahoo mail to use the manual setup with K-9.

Perhaps someone can rescue me.

If I use the Verizon icon for Yahoo mail, I would be o.k. but do not want to delete from server when I delete from the device. K-9 worked until I changed the Yahoo password this morning.

I would think if you were to check out Yahoo they would have a help our support page for configuration setup using 3Rd party email applications. You may want to check into that...

Probably has something to do with configuration of your outgoing and incoming paths to Yahoo servers.

Make sure you're not on wifi when trying to setup Yahoo mail.
