How come when I manually input a number I can never find it in my contacts book yes I sync/update my backup assistant... Wth

Are you talking about manually entering a number in the phone dialer or in the universal search?

I figured it out you have to go through the menu in contacts and open the backup assistant so it will show in your contacts
