Ics sleep option issue

My friend and I both have this issue.

The sleep mode under display options does not work. No matter what time I set the sleep option to, the screen does not turn off unless I manually press the power key.

Anyone figure this out?

never seen that. try a fake battery pull and see if it still happens.

Still happens. Does it happen to you? If you just leave your phone idle

if i set mine to cut off after 1 minute it does so. set yours for the lowest time and let it sit... and wait.

wonder if there is an app similar to Airpush to find out?

other than removing all of your apps and trying fresh, then again maybe a factory reset is just what the doctor ordered.

You can test the sleep mode while the phone is in Safe Mode to see if a 3rd party app is interfering:

Safe mode:

Power the phone down.
Push the power button to turn the phone on.
When you see the Motorola Dual Core screen then press the volume up/down key down until the phone boots.
You should see "Safe mode" at the bottom left corner of the home screen.
Test the sleep mode.
Reboot the phone to get it out of Safe mode.
