When I am not away from the office, I turned my email push to never so I would check email manually. Now with ICS, there is no Manual setting, but I do have the "push" it set to "Never" but my emai still keeps being sent to my phone. How do I get it to stop sending email. I am sitting at my desk...I am getting email to my desktop, I don't need my phone going off too with the same emails messages.

Did you go into Gmail. Then hit the menu button, settings, select the account you wanna change. Then turn sync off. Or you can just turn notifications off so it will not make any sounds. You might be able to set a smart action for this also.

In my case the ICS update turned the master sync switch to off and I wanted it on. Anyway, here is where the on/off switch is:
Under home screen menu> systems settings > Accounts & Sync
there is a master on/off for sync for all accounts, in my case Gmail and Backup Assistant Plus. At the top above the blue bar there is a master sync switch on or off.

I read elsewhere that this takes the place of GB background data on/off.
