6.14.84 Leak

I am on the 6.14.84 leak. I am now seeing from past posts that you cannot revert to GB or have any future OTAs. Has a fix been found for this? My charging port is loosening and I want to get a warranty replacement. The root voids my warranty, correct? Thanks in advance.

I don't have a ROM installed. Will they be able to tell by the System Version? And will removing root with Voodoo help at all?

Since its 6.14.84, they might not send a replacement. But its going to be up to the rep to make that choice.

Download RAZR utility 1.7 and read all of the instructions. Should bring you up to date and from there you can remove root.

After I soft bricked, I updated to 6.16.211. Is this not eligible for the OTA update? If not, is there a way to unroot from it?

I don't remember what every ROM version that was put out officially by Verizon... was 6.14.84 an official Verizon ROM version, or a leak?

Now that you are running the officially released Verizon version (6.16.211) this should be able to get OTA's from this point going forward. It might be a very good idea to make a backup... since I'm sure you must have SafeStrap loaded on your device and be able to make a backup.
