The downloads I had with ICS no longer appear when I use the Download icon although they are still present (via file manager) and, any new downloads show up normally. I tried moving the older files out and back again (moving in JB is not intuitive, BTW) but it had no effect. A bit odd all the old files are perfectly intact, functional & in the same folder yet, only the new ones are visible from the shortcut.

Weird. Might consider clearing the data from the Download Manager app, then restarting the phone to see if it repopulates. I've never tried it though, so don't kill me if it messes things up more!

Well, worth a shot but no joy. I notice the prior folder was "download" while the new one is "downloads"... thought maybe the " s" was the culprit but no such luck. No big deal as long as I can remember the files in the old folder with no direct access.

I just made a shortcut to the old folder, dragged it over the new & turned it into a composite folder. Problem solved, I love Android.
