Serious problem, keeping it simple.

Ok so just updated my maxx to jellybean, then decided to to root. Everything went smoothly so far. Then, I installed "cwm touch" (worked fine) then went ahead and performed a backup. The backup ran and after the phone attempted to boot it comes up "encryption unsuccessful,must perform FDR." I press the reset phone button and it goes to the loading screen and after rebooting I end up back at "encryption unsuccessful" please help!

I would check cwm topics and/or your backup application topics. What back up app did you use?

The newest vers of cwm touch. I wasn't trying to do anything particularly dangerous or risky (so I thought.)

I didn't think you could install a CWM recovery with a locked bootloader?

I did the same thing. Paid for supersu to root my RAZR maxx. Didn't work now my phone is messed up. Can't factory reset and can't even go to Google play

I just want a simple fast phone! So I can listen to music and text and pictures.they told me this phone was better than the iPhone 5 because of the battery life... Bunch of crap! This battery sucks

Why would you pay for anything to root your phone. Look for razr blade root to root maxx on jb.
