Ok for those of you who are annoyed with your apps not filling the screen all the way.
Get spare parts from the market.

This is what you do.
I'm trying to remember exactly how I did it but play with it it works.

After you download it.
Look for compatibility mode.
Its a matter of checking it an restarting your phone.
I think after I installed I checked comp mode then restarted my phone.
Then I unchecked comp mode then restarted my phone, and presto
all of my apps are now full screen. U don't have to root your phone and change the DPI settings.
I remember using it when I had my Sammy 7" tab to do the same thing.
It works you will be happy with the results.

Especially the 50 plus crowd....

It worked great on my Xoom pre the 3.2 unpate that included it with the os. I'm assuming ICS will address this for you guys too...
