"Tinny" Speaker

The replacement phone I received today has a very "tinny" sound when using speaker phone. Videos, notifications, speaker phone convos etc... all sound poor. Is this a common issue? Can it be fixed?
More importantly, is it worth calling Verizon to get a replacement???

I just got the RAZR coming from the gn. The speaker is alot louder then the gn for sure. How quiet is it? Is the volume all the way up. Mines extremely loud.

i think he means it sounds like distorted treble, not that it is too quiet...

for me, all speaker phones sound awful. typically speaking, a video will have much better sound quality than a speakerphone conversations...
