Noticeable lag

I have noticed a lag in my phone's performance recently. I got the ICS upgrade June 30. The phone should be faster, not slower. Any thoughts as to why this is? Any solutions or troubleshooting ideas? Thanks.

I just read that the .214 update will fix this issue and improve battery life. Hope it is true and comes soon.

Have you tried clearing the cache? I read how to do it on the Motorola forums, seemed to help mine quite a bit.

Definitely clear the cache. Hold both volume buttons and the power button down (when the phone is off). When you get to a little green guy with his chest open hit both volume buttons. Then go into recovery, then clear cache.

You'll have to do this every few days or so after ICS. Well, at least I have...
