[MODEM][EH06] Gingerbread EH06 "MODEM ONLY"

For those of you who are into experimenting and playing with different modems. Since I can't flash things right now I figured I would help out where ever possible so I pulled this from the EH06 tar file.


Open Odin and place this in the PHONE slot.
Check Reboot Only.
Press Start.

Have a quick question. My phone has the following:

Firmware - 2.3.3
BaseBand - EG22 (updated last week)
Build # - Gingerbread EF02

Can I update to EH06? or do I have to update my Build # first?

Also, EG22 works well on my phone (GPS is very good). My only issue is, when I'm on a call & the screen goes black, I sometimes have trouble getting it to light up again when pressing the power button. I've had this same problem w/EF02 & EF10. Does anyone know if EH06 fixes this problem? Is there a fix to this problem?

Its only a few hours old so I don't know about changed in EH06

To get on EH06 follow the instructions in the EH06 thread for installation.

Yes. You can flash any modem for the Epic with any version of OS (Eclair/Froyo/Gingerbread)

my gps is only locking on 2 satelites on this modem...
