I'm just posting this here because it might be relevant to the RC as well. I turned off led notifications and all my battery draining went bye bye. My phone is sleeping like a baby. If any of you are having battery issues, try it.

Anyone know of a good kernel that supports more Governors and possible overclocking? Recovery too would be nice. I used Chris41g's kernel that supports AOKP but this borks the WiFi..

hey all.... just installed AOKP_Milestone_6_RC4_07172012 was beautiful.... but I dunno if I missed something.... or something just did not set right...
when I "usually" go to my file manager... I see a dir called "external_sd"
which has all my goodies .. I did not see it at all ...even tried another file manager.... sooo... I had to restore back to my blend ics...I really liked how smooth and fluid it was ...
maybe you could shoot me a idea or something... I could not find anything that would let me access it..
    thanks for your work.

Yeah, bootloop. But the Optimus S which is ARMv6 and hasn't even gotten ICS got a working build of JEllybean. Almost everything works! How come we don't have one yet ? ? ?

Because no other device on the market today has the same chipset as our device.

Soooo.... since I'm new to the lovely vanilla ICS. I keep wanting to pinch the homescreen to edit them. Can you not add or remove homescreens? Or is there an aokp setting I am overlooking?

Lol. Thats a Samsung Touchwiz thing. You wont find that in an AOSP type ROM.

Sometimes screen turns right on after pushing button. Sometimes it takes up to 10 seconds. Just wanted to report it. Happened with both nightlies as well so it might be something on my end I'm not sure.

Yes this is a known issue with the new kernels and sensor binaries. It is being addressed by the CM team.

Not really that weird cause my liquid ice rom is built on the OTA FF18 Base and AOKP is based on Compiled Source Code from Google. Alot of work goes into an AOSP Rom.
