new to this need a little help
- I rooted and flashed my epic touch last night. My aim was to flash AOKP but it wouldntt install from sd. So I went with the goodiness instead. I like it but my camera isn't working. Theres a fix but I'm very confused on what to do to fix. I would likelike to go back to aokp but would I have to do a recovery back in to gingerbread? And what did I do wrong in the first place? My cwm looked different the the one on the video as mine said rouge. Was that the problem?04-21-2012 11:55 AMLike 0
- Flash the el27 cwm kernel in mobile odin, boot into recovery, fwipe data, flash aokp and gapps, reboot.04-21-2012 04:18 PMLike 0
- srkmagnusRetired ModeratorCheck the AOKP thread and see if they give you a walk through to install the ROM if coming from another ROM. It may require you to install the el26 kernel via Odin or Mobile Odin and enter recovery to do the install. If the instructions are not clear then you'll need to factory restore with Odin or the one-click method and start over from Gingerbread.
As a warning, don't flash or restore a gingerbread ROM if you are currently on ICS. You'll risk bricking if you do.04-22-2012 04:03 PMLike 0
