    For what it's worth, I have noticed a direct correlation between poor battery life (from a wakelock) and the random wakes. I noticed I'd either have some deep sleep and constant random wakes, or no deep sleep and no random wakes. After thinking about it for a bit, this explains why some users are seeing no random wakes - because their devices are never entering a state where they were asleep to begin with. I would imagine any device will exhibit the random wakes, it's just that those that are already always awake are effectively immune to it.

    I'm getting the Status 7 zip error after a wipe, /system format didn't help. Using EL26, like always. Never happened to me before...

    Error is:
    "set_perm: some changes failed."

    Ahh, found the problem I'm pretty sure. DK deleted /system/etc/init.d but forgot to take out these lines in the updater script:

    set_perm_recursive(0, 2000, 0755, 0755, "/system/etc/init.d");
    set_perm(0, 0, 0755, "/system/etc/init.d");

    They're failing since the directory doesn't exist, and aborting the install.

    Ok I can tell you by formatting system in recovery prior to flashing will cause a status 7 cause it looks at your current build.prop and by formatting system you delete the build.prop. Follow my directions in the op. format system nor use calks wipe all script is in my op.

    DK, did you intentionally delete /etc/init.d in RC1?

    Anyway, so far so good! RC1 has been running for like 10+ minutes, and not one single random wake! Cpuspy shows deep sleep at 72%

    sweet ill post back if any issues come up!

    Deep sleep fixed, no wakelocks! Good job man, as far as extended volume settings seems to be working you added the 3 options at the bottom for silent/vibrate/ring correct? If so then it is working just fine. Only issue still remaining it seems like is bluetooth media... oh and video camera while in playback still gives black screen, Nice job!

    Hey quick question... in the etc/bluetooth folder their is an audio.conf, if I replaced that one with one from your working aokp stable, do you think bluetooth media would work? Would it be worth a shot?

    nope...
    its more involved then that

    I see that it hasn't been changed in the Op but wasn't sure if it just hasn't been changed yet. Is the SD card visible in RC1? Or is this still being worked on?

    Regardless, thanks for the hard work and great ROM. Many thanks.
