Apparently changelogs are now TL;DR (too long; didn't read). Thanks for the quick updates, I'm going to switch from AOKP to this Beta now. And thank you for taking time out of your personal life for strangers you've never met before.

Hey DK, I'm about to follow your directions in OP to the T. Does it hurt to flash Calk format-all zip? I've always used it as part of my wiping process but I'm not sure if that's a huge no or not.

Just wondering why you are not building from source? What device are you porting this from? And I believe the source has been out for JB AOKP...

When I open up the Camera app it says gallery forced closed any ideas on how to fix?

I'm getting, "Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped" over and over again immediately after flashing and setting up Beta 1. Anyone else experiencing the same? And yes, I wiped everything I was supposed to.

Lmfao. That shows how little you really know about ports and source built roms. Do yourself a favor and stop making yourself look stupid. Ports can be 99.9% stable. Whoever told you they couldnt lied.

it still keeps telling me that the installation is aborted. I follow the steps and im not sure what's the problem. i have never had problems flashing anything. I have been currently running the Universe rom, so i mobile odined the el26 kernel, and then from that recovery im still getting the problem
