Updating to ICS ROM from Caulkulin's 3.0 GB ROM

I am running Caulkulin's 3.0 ROM and want to go to an ff18 ROM.

Can I just do a complete Wipe and Flash an ff18 ROM - or do I need to go back to EL29 first?

What FF18 ROM do people recommend - was looking at Phantom's FF18 Rom - any others to consider.

I am pretty sure i read on other threads you need to go back to el29.

Do a full odin restore to EL29 stock then do the OTA.

Thanks all - I did the ODIN restore to EL29 - and then flashed an FF18 ROM - worked well.
