Before we get to the good stuff, I would like to thank all those listed in my credits for everything. Without them, there is no way I couldve compiled an AOKP build for you guys. They have taught me so much in these past couple of weeks and it has all been a great learning experience. I do not consider myself a dev by any means. I am simply a contributor (LOL) with some basic knowledge on compiling roms, github and have some great people to turn to when I need help. If you want to donate, donate to them, not me. Thanks SLick Rick I totally missed this thread over at XDA. The Development section there can get crowded with junk at times. The last time I ran AOKP on ICS builds I had two issues. Screen tearing and random LOS. Are you still seeing these issues anymore on the JB builds?

Thanks SLick Rick I totally missed this thread over at XDA. The Development section there can get crowded with junk at times. The last time I ran AOKP on ICS builds I had two issues. Screen tearing and random LOS. Are you still seeing these issues anymore on the JB builds?

I would say neither of those issues exist anymore. Give it a flash

Build 1.2 = AOKP Build 2. They are from the same source but I just named it differently at the time.

I cant install it I've tried safe recoveries flashing to stock el26 and 29 an forcing signature checks all I get is the same error 7 some symlinks weren't made/failed only job based ROM I've been able to flash was paranoid. any help I'd appreciate cause I can't use any other jb ROM but paranoids

Hmm. Maybe try a one click back to el29 then Odin el26 cwm kernel and try flashing roms+Gapps then. Also re-download any existing files you have, maybe they're bad.

That's the exact process I've been using actually but I'll try redownloading and see what happens

The only time I've gotten the status 7 error was when I was trying to flash a us cellular rom (specifically, times_infinity ics aokp for uscc... it was the only working link, and I'm on cricket anyway and don't need the extra 4g stuff). I just changed the values in the build.prop that it "wanted" and it flashed fine.

BTW, slick (or corrupt... whatevs) nice work on this ROM! Haven't updated to the latest build yet but I'm in love, man. The only issues I've experienced are the ones already noted in the OP, but I know they'll get fixed as the kernel matures and you do your thing.

I'm kinda new to editing build. Prop filehow would I find what to change?
Edit: nvm tried redownloading one last time and the install worked fine thanks for the help !

anyone test out bluetooth audio streaming? any issues with quiet sound on apps?

also, i have aokp milestone 6 on my phone right now. it works great with the exception of really weak vibration.

also, i have aokp milestone 6 on my phone right now. it works great with the exception of really weak vibration.

Low volume seems to be a JB thing for most devices including ours unfortunately. All roms seem to be affected by it right now.
