What is the keys to making this reccovery work? Trying to restore a backup but except for the volume keys moving up and down the options all the other keys just turn my screen off. Don't have access to a computer and phone stuck on samsung logo .. any help would surely be appreciated.

I recall one of the recoveries I had required pushing the home button to make selections, power button was back.

boot into recovery, press the volume keys in this order; "volume up, vol down, and volume up again".

I believe that was the order to enable power button pressing on older cwm recoveries. Let me know!
