On the PAC in black build
Is there a way to get my baseband to gl37 (whatever the new one is) only using mobile Odin
If so how

Only using mobile ODIN? Probably not. For the most part Mobile Odin doesn't play well with ROMs or anything else you want to flash to your phone. I have heard of numerous complaints or problems occurring due to Mobile Odin. Probably the best thing to do is flash the current modem to your phone. But I would make sure that the custom ROM can handle it.

You can only run GB or ICS modems on PIB, so not gb27 or else you won't have data.
