Haven't found an answer to these questions about the Essential PH-1

1. Does it feature WiFi calling?

2. Does it feature some kind of High Resolution capable Digital-to-Analog converter (DAC)?

3. Does it have NFC?

4. Apparently it does NOT have wireless charging, but there will be some kind of 'dock' to set it on to charge without having to plug it in every time. So, what's the availability & pricing on the charging dock?

5. Is it Daydream compatible?

Thanks for any help here.

So, does it have WiFi calling? Is that feature baked into Android 7.0+, or does the carrier need to have the phone registered in their system?

Yes and yes. WFC is baked into Android but not all carriers play nicely with it. T-Mobile and Sprint support it without much hassle. AT&T and VZW both need the devices specifically registered in their system.

There are a few threads around on how to get AT&T and VZW to register new phones that aren't yet in their system.

UPDATE: Someone over on XDA says WFC is supported by Verizon: https://forum.xda-developers.com/essential-phone/how-to/wifi-calling-t3657412

Here's a question, will it support MHL or Miracast? That would be a nice feature you don't get with Pixel or Nexus.
