E-mail apps

Since this phone didn't come with a stock with a stock email app, what email client are you using?

Try Aquamail...I've used it on my GS4 for years. Kostya, the developer is amazing; if you have a problem and email him, he responds in minutes!

I use BlackBerry Hub, as it syncs e-mail, social media notifications, calendar, text and IM's all in one convenient place.

I have been using the Nine app for years and it's the best imho

Outlook, but it asked for far more permissions for GMAIL than I thought needed.

I use Outlook, and very surprised that it doesn't have any editing options. Hopefully that will change with future updates.

G-mail just did an update. It sucks. I'd like to go back to the previous version but the Gmail "Help" says we can't. Grrrrr.

Try not to update if you can help it. The app seems to have lost (!) my Outlook account info.

Now it seems like the email app has a priority (??). G-mail is displaying consistently and I can see my main email _if_ I select all accounts. But it immediately reverts to Gmail when I close and re-open the window.
Anyone got an insight into changing the priority back to all?

Can Gmail be uninstalled?

I suppose it could be and I will if I must. Then reinstall and maybe that'll make it secondary as before?

I only use Outlook, and since this is my first Android phone I wasn't sure if Gmail could be permanently uninstalled.
