Can i put a siedio rugged case on my generic 3500 battery?

I recently bought a generic 3500 battery from amazon and just received it today. I don't mind the "door" for it, but I was curious on getting an over the phone case. Siedio is the only one that I know that does that. However I worry that if I buy their door/ case combo that it will not fit my battery. However when I compare (to pictures) the battery looks virtually the same. All I need to know is would I be wasting my time/money if I bought the rugged case/combo. Sorry if this should be in another spot.

Yes......You can used the Seidio Extended Rugged Case with a generic battery
