Why is the Status Bar (Status, Photo, Checkin) on the app Twice?

I have the Statusbar on my Galaxy Note 4 FB app on the screen twice!? It seemed to start a week or two ago. It's a the bottom and top. Why? (See attachment photo)

I can't find anything about this problem in the Help or Google Searches... Is it an app option? Or maybe a FB app causes it?

Do you see this twice on your FB screen in Android?

Yes, I see it too, and my app is fully updated. Kinda silly--the lower bar is supposed to reappear no matter where you scroll, while the one at the top just scrolls away along with that "What's on your mind?" box. Give them feedback and tell them that it's a waste of space. android-support@fb.com

But it's strange that many of my friends posted to me on FB saying they don't see that...

It might depend on what version they have and what platform they're using. Maybe the iOS version doesn't have that.
