Why is my Android logging into Facebook on it's own?

Adroid logging into Facebook on it's own

Is it possible for an android phone to log in to Facebook without someone accessing it? When my husband travels, his chat will come on about every 30 minutes or so, throughout the night. I have accused him of chatting with people all night and he insists he was sleeping. I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt and never had any reason to think he was cheating except the green dot that appears on my screen for him throughout the night. He uses and Android notebook 4 and swears he is not on FB. Can you please help? This is ruining are marriage. Thank you, Joanne

If you're not actually logging out of the app? Yeah, wouldn't surprise me at all if the little green dot still appears.

If it stayed on I would agree, but it goes off and on about every 30 minutes. Is that still something that would be caused by not logging out of the app? Thank you!
