Ever since I updated my Nexus 5X to Nougat the Facebook app crashes when I try to read instant articles and take a look at my activity log or the account details on someone else's profile. Reinstalling the app didn't help, does anybody else have this problem or knows a solution?

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not sure if uninstalling an app necessarily deletes its associated data (since I've noticed other apps can leave data folders behind after being uninstalled). Try going Settings>Apps, select Facebook, and Clear Cache/Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.

Well I have same problem since I have upgraded my Negux 5X to Android 7.0. Facebook App is crashing constantly, I tried Clearing Cache & Data but that only helps temporarily. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, all that stuff, it's been 2 months like this now. Am I the only person who got this problem? Is there something wrong with my phone? All other apps are working without any problems. I mean it crashes on everything, I open an Instant Article = Crash, I open Nearby Friends = Crash, I open App Settings = Crash. But after I restart the app like 10 times, it starts working normally. I think they didin't add support for Android 7.0 yet, but then again, I don't see many people having this problem, so I wonder what is going on here. I am alone?

Hello TNZ,

My Moto G5 plus (running on Android 7.0) is having same problem. App crashes unexpectedly. I have tried clearing the cache memory. Even wipe out cache partition in boot system.
Need Android support in this . It is very serious problem.
