Try long pressing (holding a finger on it for a few seconds) the picture and it should give you a "download" or "save" option.
If it does, the picture will be in your Gallery.

Log in to your Facebook account. Go to the location of the pictures that you want to add.

Press down on a picture until a menu pops up. Tap "Save Image" in the menu. Tap "OK." Repeat this step for every picture you want to add to your Android Gallery.

Press the "Home" button. Go to the apps menu on your Android. Different phones have a different way of accessing it from the Home screen. Tap "Apps" or the "Arrow" on the screen.

Tap "Gallery." Tap "Downloads." The Gallery opens your Android Download folder, which contains the pictures you saved from Facebook.

I'm running Android 5.0.1. Here's how it works for me.

    1. From "Applications" open "My Files."

    2. Open "Device Storage."

    3. Open "DCIM."

    4. Open "Facebook"

    There they are.
