Why does my Facebook messenger app crash when I'm using the chat head bubble?

My facebook messenger app crashes when im using the chat head bubble

Messenger always crashes on me after like 2 minutes or random times if I'm in a call and get out of it to browse my phone or just typing in the chat bubble head it randomly crashes. I tried reinstalling it and still doesn't work. I have an LG Tribute.

Find Messenger, in your Application manager, and try clearing the cache. You can also enter recovery mode and do a wipe of the Cache Partition, this "should" help, doing both. If not, then it quite possible that either the previous update for Messenger is causing you this problem, or if you recently updated your software on your phone, like updating to Marshmallow, or a security update, this too could be the problem; and if a Cache wipe doesn't help, then a factory reset would be in order.
