Edited a Facebook post and it's not successfully updating. Why?

I've edited a post on the facebook app and it's not successfully updating.

The edit was made through the facebook app and it just says "this post is no longer available, it may have been removed" but i have not removed or deleted the post. i've just edited it. I can even see the post in the background greyed out and in a sort of pending status.

It keeps trying to refresh and update the post but it keeps failing to update. There's an option to cancel or stop the update but i'm worried this will deleted the post completely...

I logged into my facebook account on Laptop and the post isn't there at all.. I'm wondering if its just hung up and stuck and if i exit the post update it will go back to how it was before. My internet connection is fine by the way...

All i've edited is the "What you're doing" section of the post.

Any ideas?

Try going to Settings>Apps, select Facebook, and Clear Cache.

Thanks B. Diddy but it's too late now, i ended up deleting the post and re-posting it. But i'll try that next time i have a problem.
