Why don't i have a gif button on Facebook?

I've checked to see if there are any new updates and there aren't however i still have no gif option on Facebook.

It works on all of my friends devices and their apps with the same phone.

It should be working on the S8+. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling facebook?

The LG K7 may not be able to run the latest version of Android. The facebook update may require a newer version of android.

S8 + here, no gif button for me either. App is updated and I just got the phone today. Hubby has it on s7.

Is it possible it could be a carrier issue? I have no gifs on my Verizon LG V20, but my boyfriend has gifs on his AT&T LG V20.

I have a S6 and I can't do GIF comments but I can do I in messenger. If anyone has any ideas let me know.

I can do gif as a status update and in messenger but not as a comment. it seems like more people have it as now they are making it a game. but I have updated it just yesterday and I still don't have it.

I have an s7 edge, Verizon, everything is up to date, and still no gif for me either. I can select a gift and post it through my keyboard, but it doesn't post as a comment, but as a new post.

I'm having the same problem. Husband and I have the exact same phone S7 Edge. He CAN post gifs in comments and I can't. Both with same carrier and I've uninstalled FB and reinstalled FB and both phones are up to date.

I'm having the same issue. LG V10 on AT&T running 6.0. At least I know I'm not the only one.
